What defence or tips to reduce the addiction
*When bored, consciously choose something else (e.g. a book or puzzle).
* Building awareness and habits:
Keep a 'dopamine log': write down when you watch videos and how you feel afterwards.
Talk about it with others, or seek support if things really get out of hand.
Focus on longer content: train your attention with books, podcasts or longer videos.
