Income gap

The income gap must be narrowed and particularly by improvement of the condition of those now deprived. Nothing so denies enjoyment of life, and indeed liberty itself, as a total absence of money or some approach thereto. A rich country can guarantee an income to the deprived. If some do not work, so be it. The rich are also known on occasion to prefer Leisure.
