The difference between Parkinson’s (Parkinson’s disease (P)) and Alzheimer’s (Alzheimer’s disease (A))

P.8/A.8: Both diseases can overlap: someone with Parkinson's can also develop Alzheimer's-like symptoms later on, and conversely, people with Alzheimer's can show parkinsonian movements in later stages. There is also dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB), which resembles Parkinson's in terms of protein deposits, but where the dementia comes before the movement complaints.
